The file dropdown menu can be accessed by clicking the down arrow located on the ribbon.

Navigate the settings dialog, create/save/open and exit Music Jotter

• New Composition
• Save As
  • .jot (This is Music Jotter’s file extension)
  • .mid (Standard Midi File)
  • .xml (Save as an xml, which is useful if you wish to port into other music programs)
  • .pdf (Save a score to PDF, for printing)
• Open Composition
  • .jot (Opens Music Jotter’s file extension)
  • .mid (Opens a midi file)
  • .xml (Opens an xml file, which is useful if you wish to port from other music programs)
• Options
• Exit Music Jotter
